Norman MacIver (Director, Trainer/Assessor)
Our Norman is extra special.  There’s not many areas he hasn’t worked in – distribution, logistics, health and safety, production and quality control – as trainer, assessor, advisor.  He’s friends with ITO’s and NZQA and worked closely on many a special project with them.  Norman has walked the walk; he knows heaps of things, he’s engaging and always willing to share his expert insight. Norman is based at Whakapara, near Hikurangi in Northland.

Minnie Golledge (Business Development Manager)
Minnie brings her experience of over 20 years in sales and marketing to the TIS Team. Minnie is a passionate and enthusiastic account manager who enjoys creating solutions to suit the different needs of the client. To her sales is about establishing trust and developing a mutually beneficial relationship; it must be a win-win situation for both the company and the client. Her experience in running her own CrossFit box in Manukau with her husband introduced her to helping people with fitness, weight loss and training in a safe way. Minnie is now looking forward to being part of the TIS team assisting our clients health and safety. Her motto is ‘Everything in Moderation’ – Minnie likes to work hard and play hard… something she teaches her blended family of four children. We have it on good authority that she makes the best chicken curry!

Kataraina Thompson (Trainer/Assessor)
Kati’s piloting the Warehousing & Distribution training with a style that’s holistic, learner focused and results driven. Her experience is pretty remarkable: from logistics in the Royal NZ Air Force, financial control of stock and cost analysis in civilian outfits, to being a volunteer fire fighter – our very own ‘Fireman Sam’! Goes without saying then, that she’s into adrenalin sports. In fact, come summer, you may find her moonlighting the Sky Tower ledges guiding other thrill seekers.

Grant Letfus (Contract Trainer/Assessor)
Grant grew his printing business from four to 180 staff over a 30 year period. He’s been hands on all the way from shop floor to senior leadership.  Training was always a big part of the business so it was natural that he be part of the formation of the Industry Training Organisations (ITOs).  He’s been an industry assessor, trainer and auditor since and is passionate about the philosophy that everybody should come home safely after a day at work.

Terry Culley (Contract Trainer/Assessor)
Terry’s passion for training and assessment came from working with Industry Training Associations. From Moderation Manager to the National Registrar of Forklift Trainers, Terry was tasked with ensuring the National Standards and best practice in training were achieved and maintained. He has now crossed to the opposite side of the fence and is delivering training ensuring that people needing to be trained, get the best opportunities to upskill themselves.

Stu Stubbs (Manager Support Services)
Training is a tool to build productive, stable work forces; and Stu backs this philosophy 100%.  He’s the rock, the behind the scenes go-to man of TIS.  After a 20 year Army career in transport and logistics, 13 years in fleet management and director/manager of a Private Training Establishment for ten years, Stu has a straight up no nonsense approach to getting things done.  He’s also forayed into commercial transport and logistics management so you’ll get a lot more than you bargained for. Stu is based at Raureka, Hastings in Hawkes Bay.
